The Carlisle was founded in 1992 as a boutique Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). Today The Carlisle offers 93 distinctive units within a beautifully designed twelve-story building on Cathedral Hill with its close proximity to the Civic Center, San Francisco’s cultural center with its famous symphony, opera and theaters as well as shopping and museums.
