Upon its annexation into the town of Burlingame, Easton evolved into The Easton Addition. Unlike many names that have faded into obscurity, The Easton Addition has ascended in prominence as it transformed into the splendid neighborhood it is today.
The neighborhood’s desirability is such that building sites start at 2 million dollars, while new homes can command prices reaching up to 6 million dollars, with numerous homes falling within this range.

The Easton Addition experienced its most significant growth in the 1920s, and its architectural character reflects the era, featuring shingled Craftsman homes, East Coast Colonials, English Tudors, and various Mediterranean styles. Today, many of the pre-1920s homes have been replaced with residences that faithfully replicate the architectural styles of the 1920s and 1930s.
In the early 1900s, under the careful guidance of John McLaren, the renowned landscape architect behind Golden Gate Park, The Easton Addition’s streets were lined with rows of Sycamores, Gums, and magnolias. These trees now create a lush, leafy canopy over the quaint streets. Set against a backdrop of majestic mountains and offering glimpses of the San Francisco Bay through treetops, The Easton Addition boasts an incomparably stunning environment.
